Purpose: Must be an education major, full-time student, and be enrolled in accredited college in the United States. Graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students must have
2.5 minimum GPA. Graduate students must have 3.0 and can be full- or part-time. Undergraduate scholarship awards $1,000; graduate scholarship awards $2,000. NAACP membership and participation is preferable, copy of NAACP membership card or receipt of membership is needed. Application deadline is the last Friday in March. Focus: Education Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; Asian; African American; Hispanic.
