$1300 James Carlson Memorial Scholarship
(Four Year College/Scholarship)
Purpose: One-time award for elementary or secondary education majors entering senior or fifth year or graduate students in fifth year for elementary or secondary certificate. Priority given to African-American, Asian, Hispanic, Native-American ethnic groups; dependents of Oregon Education Association members, and others committed to teaching autistic children. Focus: Education; Special Education Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
