The Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies offers a number of grants, awards, and scholarships for Graduate and Undergraduate in Jewish Studies at University of Wisconsin–Madison, 2012 USA
Eligibility:
-Students currently enrolled at UW–Madison.
Scholarship Description: Several scholarships and awards have been established to recognize academic excellence in Jewish Studies.UW-madison offers these scholarships
-Robert and Beverly Natelson Family Award in Jewish Studies The Robert and Beverly Natelson Family Award is a $3000 scholarship given to the best undergraduate or graduate student in the area of Jewish Studies. Criteria for selection will be a combination of merit and need.
-Ida and Isaac Lipton Major/Certificate Award:This award goes to the best senior(s) with a major or certificate in Jewish Studies.
-Marjorie and Harry Tobias Undergraduate Major/Certificate Scholarship:This need-based scholarship is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate major or certificate student to support their continued pursuit of Jewish Studies at UW–Madison. (Graduating seniors are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.)
-Ida and Issac: Essay Awards (graduate and undergraduate)The essay used for these awards should be a substantial paper (minimum of ten pages) on a Jewish studies topic. Undergraduate and graduate essays will be considered separately
