$1000 Scholarships to students at any accredited West Virginia college or university
West Virginia Golf Association Fund
(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: Awarded to students at any accredited West Virginia college or university. This fund is open to individuals who meet the following criteria: 1) have played golf in WV as an amateur for recreation or competition or 2) have been or are presently employed in WV as a caddie, groundskeeper, bag boy, etc. Must also include a reference by a coach, golf professional or employer and an essay explaining how the game of golf has made an impact in applicant's life. Scholarships are awarded with a commitment of one year. May apply for two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. All scholarships are for high school seniors. You must be a West Virginia resident. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: private club/caddying.
