$5000 Scholarship to students majoring in the arts
Florence Young Memorial Scholarship
(Four Year College, University/Fellowship)
Purpose: This scholarship in the amount of $5000 is based on financial need and merit. It is awarded annually and paid directly to the institution. Preference is given to students majoring
in the arts, particularly American-Indian arts. Focus: Arts Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.
Funds Avail.: Minimum award amount: $5000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 1 fellowship(s), totalling $5,000. To Apply: Required: application form; transcript; financial need analysis; essay; certificate of enrollment and blood quantum from your tribe or BIA. Schedule of classes. Deadline: 7/20.
