Purpose: Over 30 scholarships given annually to Oregon high school seniors who plan to major
in engineering, computer science or a closely related field and attend one of seven Oregon University system campuses. Must be U.S. citizen. Deadline is March 1. Must complete application on Web site: http://www.ous.edu/ecs/scholarships Focus: Chemical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Computer Science/Data Processing; Electrical Engineering/Electronics; Engineering/Technology; Engineering-Related Technologies; Materials Science, Engineering, and Metallurgy; Mechanical Engineering Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 30. Maximum no. of awards: 35. Minimum award amount: $2500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 110 scholarship(s), totalling $275,000.
