Description: A motivated PhD student is sought for a research project in the polymer reaction design group on the topic of pulsed laser polymerization techniques. The project aims at the determination of key rate parameters in controlled radical polymerizations and in radical coupling reactions. The research will therefore focus on the kinetics of the underpinning polymerization reactions as well as reactor modeling of the outcome of polymerization processes. Additionally, the position entails organisational duties in the research group as well as didactic tasks such as assisting in student (laboratory) excercises or supervising bachelor and master thesis projects
