Purpose: One-time award towards tuition for foreign culinary education. Applicant must have applied for an extensive culinary course. Approval of the course is at the discretion of the
James Beard Foundation scholarship committee. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to the culinary arts, an exceptional academic or work record, and financial need.
