There are two types of scholarships:
• Continuing Scholarships – Students entering college for the first time this fall are eligible to apply for a
   Scholarship than can be renewed for up to four years.
• One-Year Scholarships – Students who are currently enrolled in college are eligible to apply for a one
   year award, which must be reapplied for each year.

Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund


Since 1978, Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to help over 500 women across the United States attend college.
The application cycle for 2012 is now closed. All 2012 applicants will be notified of their status by July 1, 2012. The 2013 application cycle will open on November 1, 2012.

Postgraduate ASEAN Scholarships Awards New Zealand ASEAN 2012


The New Zealand-ASEAN Scholar Awards are scholarships for international students from Southeast Asian countries who wants to study in New Zealand with the intention to help in the development of their home countries.

Quota: 170 for ASEAN countries, up to 50 scholarships for Indonesian applicants
Available for students from: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Burma, Philippines, Vietnam

Description
The New Zealand-ASEAN Scholars Awards seek to make a substantial contribution to ASEAN’s development by providing opportunities for postgraduate study (i.e. Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s degree and doctorate/PhD) in New Zealand.
The New Zealand-ASEAN Scholar Awards are funded by the New Zealand Aid Programme, the New Zealand Government’s international development programme. They are managed by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
These awards empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to contribute to economic, social and political development within ASEAN nations.
The New Zealand-ASEAN Scholar Awards recognise New Zealand’s close cultural, economic, and geographic ties with South-east Asia. They seek to empower individuals to contribute to the economic, social, and political development of their countries.
Scholarships include financial support for tuition, living costs while in New Zealand, an establishment allowance on arrival in New Zealand, and return airfares.
