Purpose: Applicant must be a young professional (age 35 or under) already employed in a field related to communications, computer science or electronics. Applicant must be a current student in an accredited college or university in the United States and demonstrate a strong commitment to the pursuit of an advanced college degree (MS or PhD) relating to communications, computer science, electronics/electrical engineering in preparation for a career in science or engineering and maintain a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Must be enrolled full-time in four-year, accredited U.S. college or university and studying electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, or mathematics. Must have a GPA of at least 3.4. Graduating high school seniors not eligible to apply, but veterans attending college full-time as freshman are eligible.
